June 5th - 'The Treasures of the Wildflower Meadow' Workshop

$125.00

Wednesday June 5th – ‘The Treasures of the Wildflower Meadow’
3:00-5:30pm.

In the earliest of summer the meadows spring to life on our farm: fields of daisies and
buttercups, the soft plume of graceful June grasses, the gifted beauty of the soft purply shades of Dame’s Rocket or the quietest pink of Bouncing Bett, or the carpets of wild English Violets and Wood Anemones.
Finding Beauty is the focus of this floral arranging class. Amy Machamer, designer and
instinctive naturalist, will lead a one of a kind exploration and design workshop focused on the delicate beauty of found flowers. Gatherings will be arranged in three tiny hand thrown pottery vases – perfect for a display on table or bedside or windowsill. These artist vases may be filled again and again with the treasures of the landscape in each season.

Buttercup desserts and herbal teas both iced and hot will be served in our newly restored
Fulton Farnsworth house. Be the first to get a personal tour of this delightful Greek Revival cottage!

Class attendance is limited!
