When we swing the big, ancient doors of our centuries-old barn open,
letting the sunshine stream in and welcoming guests to our farm,
we are opening the doors not just to a place,
but to our farm lives.

Hurd Orchards is a family-owned fruit and flower farm.
Through each event at Hurd Orchards we capture
the exuberant glimpses of beauty and wonder that we experience each day.
Vividly we bring to table and bouquet and flavor and thought
the richness and vibrancy of life on a fruit farm in our land.

Each luncheon and each program are a reflection of distinct seasonality,
the deliciouciousness of orchard and garden, the washes of color of landscape
and the joy of heritage, culture, folklore and the natural world.

Luncheons

Each luncheon theme captures a moment in time on our farm – the glory of harvest, the color and taste of the season.

Our luncheons are set in our two hundred-year-old barn – filled with the flowers of field and garden.
Our heritage tables are set with expressive and spirited style,
and we use classic china and flatware.

Using the harvest of our very own farm – fruit from our orchards, berries from our fields, herbs and garnishes from our gardens -
and the handmade artistry of our bake ovens and jam kettle
each luncheon is a multiple-course celebration.
